About Abdullah
Abdullah Azzkeri is a Managing Partner of Azzkeri & Alshaikh Law Firm. He has extensive experience advising and representing Saudi and international companies and banks on commercial transactions and disputes across a wide range of sectors and business areas. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Sharia. He is licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia by the Ministry of Justice. Prior to joining Azzkeri & Alshaikh Law Firm, he was a partner at a leading law firm with a strong local and international reputation.

- Negotiating complex commercial agreements, including construction, real estate investment, design, project management, consultancy, technology, licensing and strategic partnership arrangements.

- Advising issuers, regulators, lenders and borrowers on bond, sukuk and securities offerings, as well as project finance.
- Managing strategy for complex disputes and leading settlement negotiations.
Selected Experience
- Advised major international and Saudi companies, including Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Jacobs International Holdings Inc., Banque Saudi Fransi, SNB Capital, the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, Qiddiya Investment Company, Red Sea Global, stc and VOX Cinemas, among others.
- Provided legal advice on real estate matters in Saudi Arabia to a number of real estate developers and investors.
- Acted as lead legal counsel on a US$500 million securitisation transaction, coordinating complex negotiations with international financial institutions and ensuring that the transaction structures and documentation were fully aligned with Saudi laws and the relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Advised on the drafting and review of share purchase agreements with an aggregate value exceeding SAR 500 million.
- Managed and advised on a complex settlement involving negotiations among eight commercial entities, the drafting of settlement agreements and completion of the settlement through private transactions on the Saudi Exchange with a value exceeding SAR 440 million.
- Advised on major commercial and real estate disputes with an aggregate value exceeding SAR 6 billion.
- Handled more than 40 inheritance cases, administering and settling estates with combined assets exceeding SAR 4 billion.
- Acted as principal legal adviser to senior executives and board-level stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
- Developed and implemented suites of standard-form agreements for construction, design, project management and consultancy work for the firm’s clients in the contracting sector.
- Supported international financial institutions on local legal and regulatory matters, including Islamic finance analysis and trade finance transactions.
